COMMIT TO CLAIM IN 2025

Last year, an incredible 4,342.5 points were logged, showing just how busy you all have been out on track and volunteering.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

The BWRDC wants to recognise its members, and this is just one of the ways we do it. Tell us about your racing season, through a quarterly form, and top claimants will be presented with trophies at our annual Awards Dinner. However, claiming for points isn't just about who has raced the most or gained the best results. It's about celebrating women in motorsport.

So this year, even if you only do a few races or volunteering days, please complete the claim form and let's smash our 2024 points total this year. There are five categories: Racing Rallying Karting Speed Volunteering

HOW IT WORKS

There are four claim periods. Each claim needs to be submitted by the 5th of the following month:

  • 1 December to 31 May

  • 1 June to 31 July

  • 1 August to 30 September

  • 1 October to 30 November

HOW TO CLAIM

Show proof of membership:

  • a photo of the fireproof badge sewn onto your race suit/overalls

  • screen shots of social posts of you competing/volunteering

  • a photo of the BWRDC sticker on your car/kart.

At the end of each claim period complete the form at bwrdc.co.uk/championships and include: a copy of your results OR links to your results.

Points are given based on position in class. This can cause some confusion as TSL Timing often use the class column for other purposes (eg OF for 50+, R for Rookie).

In general:

  • if everyone in the race has cars complying with the same regs, then there is just one class

  • if you are awarded points based on your position in the class and those points count to the overall championship where you compete against drivers in other classes, then it is a class

  • rally drivers can provide a link to their BWRDC.com profile.

THE RULES

You can only claim:

  • from the start of your membership for events in that claim period

  • no backdating.
