Harewood Taster Day April 2025

After the success of last year’s IntoSpeed programme, the BWRDC has held another successful Taster Day at Harewood Hillclimb’s Driving Academy.

The day started with the pupils being accompanied by their instructors on a track walk, then they got to experience the thrill of driving the course in their road cars, first with an instructor in the passenger seat giving one to one tuition then progressing to runs on their own.

Although some participants were nervous at the start, as the day progressed, the ladies started building their confidence. By lunchtime, there were lots of smiles amongst the group and everyone was having fun.

BWRDC representatives and Motorsport UK were on hand to answer questions and provide encouragement in the glorious Yorkshire sunshine.

Congratulations to all the participants for having a go! We hope you enjoyed yourselves and that you might like to dip your toe in the water by taking part in a competitive event moving forward. The BWRDC is on hand to provide support if so.
