Racing Experience
I competed in the 2004 Formula Woman Championship aged 18. I was the youngest competitor at the time. Out of 4000 entrants I finished in the final 25.

I have competed in a 3 hour endurance karting race at Buckmore Park. I was the youngest and only female out of 30 men, and finished 2nd overall.

I have taken part in numerous track days in my fathers Lotus Sunbeam and Super Mighty Mini, while being taught valuable racing tips and techniques!

Why?
My father competed in the Super Road Saloons in his Lotus Sunbeam and won the championship 5 times. He also won the BRSCC Mighty Mini championship once.

I have been spectating at race events since I was 6 weeks old, so now at the age of 22 I think is about time I had a go. My father is stepping down this year to prepare my car and teach me all he knows. I hope to do him proud after all the time and hard work he has invested in me. It would be fantastic if next year or even later this season he thinks I have improved enough for him to go back to racing. Maybe one day we can race together. I really believe that I am capable of achieving this dream.

My boyfriend is currently Super Mighty Mini Champion and hopes to repeat that again this year, 2009. I must do well as they are both hard acts to follow.

Aims
In 2009 my main aim is to gain as much experience as possible and make full use of all the different circuits across the country. My first race is going to be at one of the most challenging but hopefully rewarding circuits Cadwell Park!

When I took part in Formula Woman, I was taught by the very first Mighty Mini Ladies Champion, Maria Brown.

The mini I am racing was actually previously owned by her husband Jonny. I would like to follow in her footsteps and become champion as she is an extremely good driver and excellent teacher. I hope to show her that I took notice of all the tips and advice she gave me, and am now able to put it into practice.

Interests
-Travelling around the world, experiencing different cultures and meeting different people.

- Watching the Grand Prix and Touring Cars both here and abroad.

- Watching my father and boyfriend compete in the Super Mighty Minis!
