| After last years wonderful weather, we knew it couldn't be so good again, so were well prepared with caravans and hot drinks (well, a bit of alcohol did emerge) this time. The Friday was superb, with cars and karts arriving for the stand on Thursday and Friday, and an impromtu test session of some cars by other drivers, up and down the service road on Thursday evening! Despite the cold wind and rain over the weekend (well it was Silverstone), we had many visitors (from the UK and abroad) and lots of interest, and were able to meet many members whom we hadn't seen before. There were not as many ladies racing this year, but we watched Jo Sebastian in her Lola T300 F5000 and Lorina Boughton in the FORCE race on Saturday. |
