First Year of Competition 1998
Why did you start? My father used to race himself soit was very much 'in the family'. I had always been interested in racing and really inherited his love for the sport. Eventually he arranged for me to have a go in a vintage Datsun 510 just for a bit of fun but I won three races in my first season, so we decided to start taking it a bit more seriously!

Best Race / Drive and why? Mosport 2006. I started the race and drove my best stint ever, setting competitive lap times, lap after lap, as fast as Saasha Massen in the works Porsche. I was fast, did not make any mistakes despite heavy traffic and handed the car to my team mate, Clint Field, in a strong position.
Worst Race / Drive and why? This had to be Road America 2005 when the back of the car caught fire. I didn't realise that it was as serious as it was and as I pulled off the track into the pit-lane entrance, the fire suddenly got out of control. The team were watching on TV and immediately radioed to say that I had to get out, which I quickly did, except for the fact that the pit-lane is uphill and the car started to roll backwards towards the circuit. The marshals were soon on their way but i was worried that there was going to be a major accident, so I rushed back to the car and managed to hold it in place until the marshals arrived to extinguish the fire. The team did a superb job rebuilding the car after that and we won the next race. It was a brilliant testimony to the Intersport crew worst racing experiences.
