To promote the great successes our members are achieving in a variety of motorsport disciplines.
ALMS driver, International 3-Day Eventer and Broadcaster Liz Halliday has agreed to be the Mentor for the BWRDC Gold Stars 'Club' category again in 2010 and will be on the BWRDC Stand Friday afternoon and all-day Saturday, so make the most of this great opportunity to quizz this exceptional sportswoman.
As Liz herself said:
"The BWRDC stand was a fantastic success in 2009 and I was thrilled by the interest that was shown from male and female visitors alike. The support shown for the club and all of us as drivers was excellent, especially from famous names such as Murray Walker, Ron Dennis, Martin Brundle and many others! I think that having these leading names in motor sport show such an interest in the BWRDC really highlights the success of the club, and also the effort that was put into the display at Autosport International this year.
I am honored to again be chosen as Mentor for the BWRDC Gold Stars "Club" winner, and I hope that my experience in the racing world can help to further the career of the lucky winner in 2010."
While committee member and 'Racing Vogue' Editor Sarah Franklin added:
"Autosport was been great for me - both in terms of the additional publicity it gave me (particularly being nominated for a Gold Star) and also for the club. We drew a lot of attention from some big names which made for some great articles in our magazine and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting supporters of the club, male and female, old and young. I personally think it has taken the club to another level."
